The 2nds made it a double bubble when they claimed a great last over victory local rivals Burghill & Tillington. The home side set a challenging target of 255 which looked at one time beyond the visitors capability when we found ourselves at 189 for 7 however the backbone really came to the fore when Sam Bradley strode to the wicket his 20 off 26 balls ably supported by fellow tail enders took CCC to a truly great victory. A fine knock by Euan Buttle of 55 Max Moor 35 & James Beswick 39 laid the foundations but it was captain Sam that saw his team home including a huge 6 in the last over.

This win takes the 2nd team back to 2nd and with just 6 games to go it is in our hands to gain promotion.

Sadly the 3rd team came up against a strong Luctonians team who are top of the league currently. CCC could only muster 104 and that was never going to be enough and the home side strolled to victory in just 19 overs.
