Belbroughton left Stowe lane heading back up the M5 after a stunning CCC performance which probably had them scratching their heads asking themselves did that really happen. The answer is very much yes and was down to a brilliant team performance with Jai 104 & Amaan 80 despatching their bowlers to all parts of the ground in a 172 partnership. The ball finders were certainly fully occupied with 20 maximums being hit in this partnership! A total of 321 on a very warm day looked daunting & so it proved to be. The accuracy of bowling from Liam smith 3 wickets, Charlie Cresswell & Rahul 1 wicket a piece and Will Rowey finished them off with a well deserved 4 wicket haul. Only two of the Belbroughton players reached double figures & they were dismissed for just 73.

A great day for the team but more hard work is needed to stay up. We are off the bottom but with a big game against fellow strugglers Burghill & Tillington away on Saturday we need to continue Saturday's strong availability. Burghill have struck some form them selves & CCC will need a repeat performance to take those important points.
