Batting first after winning the toss Hardinges despatched the ball to all parts of the ground hitting 22 4’s in his 106, this follows on from his recent hundred for Herefordshire. Henry was supported well by Jai 44, James Beswick once again demonstrated his power with a fine 62 no, all backed up by a mature innings from Mark Hardinges 44. A total of 323 looked daunting however at one time 126 for 2 and both batsman going well it could of been so different until our spin king Rahul took 4 wickets well supported by Man of the match Henry Hardinges 2 overs 2 for 8 and Liam smith who once again bowled with accuracy for his 2 for 44.

A great win against a in form team which takes us on to the 3 remaining games two at home and one away. As they say it’s all in our hands and availability will once again be a key factor in our success or failure.
