A number of fine personal performances took CCC to a deserved victory against a strong inform Rushwick team. Tom Hall who has been in a rich vein of form in recent weeks took his game to another level with a wonderful century 107 no off 94 balls including 7 4’s and 4 6’s. Toms stroke play was a joy to watch & he was well supported by Euan Buttle 61 & James Beswick 40. At 144 for 4 the score of 294 looked beyond reach but no one had accounted for an impressive innings by Damien Duncan who struck 57 in just 48 balls. Great to see Damien back in form . A real talent for the future.

Talking about talent well we also have some on the bowling front with Zayaan Edavalath & the returning Charlie Clements taking Rushwick strong batting order apart. Zayaan finished with 3 for 41 off 9 overs, & demonstrated that by putting the ball in the right area you take wickets! and Charlie Clements 3 for 54 off 9 overs. Rushwick innings finishing on 233 giving CCC a wonderful day out in the Worcester suburbs.
