Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart - Elizabeth Andrew
An important feature of the Club is the volunteering ethos. Without the burden of a players’ wage bill, the money the Club raises is all ploughed back into the facilities and high quality coaching for members, rather than into mercenary pockets!
We deeply value the commitment our volunteers make to Colwall Cricket Club - without you, our club wouldn’t exist. Thank you for being the backbone of our cricket community. Colwall Cricket Club is a tremendous success story, thanks to the dedication of our coaches and volunteers, whose hard work and passion make cricket accessible and enjoyable for all.
Our volunteers freely offer their time and skills to support the club's operations and activities without expecting payment, contributing to the club's success and the community's well-being. The Junior volunteers support grass roots sport, helping to shape the next generation of cricket stars.
Volunteers are also essential off the field too, for the smooth running of the club. They help to bring in much needed revenue so the profits can be invested back into cricket and the clubhouse’s to improve facilities.
We are always looking for more volunteers, if you can help please let us know by e-mailing janeckendrick@hotmail.com
